It is dried leaf of Pyrrosia sheareri, Pyrrossia lingua or Pyrrossia petiolosa of polypodiaceae plant. Collect them all the year round, remove the rhizome and root and dry them under the sun or dry them directly.
Characters:
The leaf of Pyrrosia sheareri is a little wrinkled, Lanceolate after flatten it, 10-25cm long and 3-5cm wide. The tip is gradually sharp, the base is ear-shaped, deflected and full - margin. Margins curl inward. The upper surface is yellowish-green or gray-green and black and rounded pits are scattered on it. The lower surface grows closely red-brown stellate hair, some between the lateral veins is covered with brown, round-punctate sorus. Petiole has 4 arris, 10-20cm long, 105-3mm in diameter, a little twisted and with longitudinal groove. Blade leathery. The gas is slight and the taste is a little puckery and bitter. The leaf of Pyrrossia lingua is lanceolate or long-rounded lanceolate, 8-12cm long and 1-3cm wide. Leaf blade base is cuneate and symmetrical. Sori are between lateral veins and arrange neatly and closely. Petiole is 5-10cm long and about 1.5mm in diameter. The leaves of Pyrrossia petiolosa are mostly curly and tubular, long-rounded or oval long-rounded after flatten them, 3-8cm long and 1-2.5cm wide. Leaf blade base is cuneate and symmetrical. The lateral veins of lower surface are not conspicuous and full of sorus. Petiole is 3-12cm long and about 1mm diameter.
